Finish of the second NATIONAL MOBILITY CHALLENGE: four times more activity

Finish of the second NATIONAL MOBILITY CHALLENGE: four times more activity

These past two months have been incredible! In total, more than 1,100 organisations, all the cities of the country, 80% of schools, 100% of higher schools, over 400 Lithuanian communities in the country, and over 150 worldwide gathered to participate in the NATIONAL MOBILITY CHALLENGE, initiated by the President of the Republic of Lithuania in the app #walk15. The number of participants in the challenge increased three times compared to the last year!

Together:

  • we walked more than 25 billion steps.
  • we circled the Earth 476 times.
  • we saved 3035 tons of CO2. This is four times more than last year!

We want to thank everyone who participated for being active and fostering more conscious daily mobility habits. 🌳
